Freeman masterfully blends West African, Caribbean, American, and European cuisines into a rich tapestry of flavors and aromas. His culinary journey began under the watchful eye of his mother in Liberia, West Africa, who nurtured his passion for cooking as he experimented with elaborate dishes. Graduating with honors from culinary school in 1996, he began his professional career as a Sous Chef at the Hilton in Minnesota before being recruited by his General Manager to join The Sheraton Suites in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

He was a Founding Partner and Executive Chef of B-Free and Dee’s Tree of Life, a renowned Soul and African fusion restaurant in Philadelphia, PA. Today, he is the Owner and Executive Chef of B-Free Catering LLC – Chef on Wheels, a premier catering company specializing in fine cuisine, serving clients and events across the United States.
